Abstract

Objective: This paper examines the Determinants of stress among the working women of Lahore a study conducted among doctors, teachers and housemaids. Methodology:  30 respondents were selected randomly with their consent. These respondents were interviewed on pre tested, structured questionnaire. Results: Among them 75.9% were married and 75.9% were from extended family system, 27 % married women said that duty timing affect their personal life, 27% married women said that duty timing affect their personal life, 17% working women belong to nuclear family system which are facing more stress than extended family system working women. Conclusion: Every organization needs to provide stress free environment.  In this modern and competitive era stress management skills for employees should be compulsory for staying healthy and successful at workplace.
