Frequency of Different Types of Footwear among Females Students of Azra Naheed Medical College, Lahore

Abstract

Objective: To determine the frequency of different types of footwear among females of Azra Naheed Medical college. Methodology: One Hundred and nineteen (119) female Patients were inspected randomly according to the pre-tested self administered questionnaire. Results: Out of 119 female patients, the majority of the females 42 (35.3%) wear flat sole with bottom curve whereas 37 (31.1%) wear flat sole shoes without bottom curve, 13 (10.9%) wear joggers and 9 (7.6%) wear high heels. Conclusion: It is concluded from this research that most of the females use flat sole with bottom curve which is comfortable for walking and during their daily activities.
