Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Title
  • Concise and Descriptive: Clearly reflects the study’s content and findings.
  1. Abstract
  • Structured: 250 words.
  • Components:
    • Background: Brief context and significance of the study.
    • Objective: Clear statement of the study’s objective.
    • Materials/Methods: Summary of the research design, participants, and procedures.
    • Results: Key findings.
    • Conclusion: Main takeaway and its implications.
    • Keywords: 3-6 MESH words
  1. Introduction
  • Provide context and explain the significance of the research with existing evidence relevant to your study.
  • Clearly state the problem your research addresses.
  • Research objectives.
  1. Materials and Methods
  • Describe the research design (e.g., experimental, observational).
  • Provide details on the sample population (inclusion/exclusion criteria, sample size).
  • Detail the tools, materials, or equipment used.
  • Clearly explain the steps followed in the study, including data collection methods.
  • Data Analysis: Describe the statistical or analytical methods used.
  1. Results
  • Use tables, figures, and text to present your findings clearly.
  • Number of tables/figures: 3-4
  • Report on the analysis and whether it supports the hypothesis or research question.
  • Include p-values, confidence intervals, etc.
  1. Discussion
  • Discuss the implications of your findings in the context of the existing literature.
  • Address the strengths and limitations of your study.
  • Suggest areas for further study.
  • Conclusion: Provide a summary of the findings and their broader impact.
  1. References
  • Citation Style: Follow the Vancouver style. 
  • In-text Citations: Ensure all references cited in the text are included in the reference list.
  • Reference List: Include all sources cited in the article, formatted according to the journal’s guidelines.
  • Relevant and at least 50% should be within last 5 years.
  1. Acknowledgments
  • Contributors: Mention anyone who contributed to the research but did not qualify for authorship.
  • Funding: Disclose any funding sources that supported the research.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
  1. Ethical Considerations
  • Approval: Mention and provide ethical approval letter.
  • Consent: State if informed consent was obtained from participants.
  1. Author Contributions
  •  Clearly define the contribution of each author to the research and writing process.

 

Formatting style:

For text: Font style "Times New Roman"

  • Font size-12-14
  • Line spacing:1.5

Maximum words: 2500 (excluding abstract and references) 

For tables: Left aligned and justified. Labeling of the title at the top

For Figures: Labelling of the title below the figure. Figures must be in JPGs. Numbering should be in Roman.

Explanation of abbreviations should be mentioned below the table & figures.
