ABSTRACT
As wheat pill poisoning has become an important public health problem so we have selected one case to elaborate the findings of aluminium phosphide poisoning .The main mechanism of its action is due to liberation of phosphine gas, affecting different organs. Patient presented with epigastric pain, vomiting and shallow breathing. Symptomatic and supportive treatment given but patient did not revive. Autopsy findings mainly include garlicky odor and congestion of stomach, liver, spleen and kidney. There is an increase demand of doctors qualified in forensic medicine & toxicology field, more awareness regarding pesticide control to decrease the rate of suicidal ingestion of these pills.
